Got a git2...accesories question.

Im looking to get a few accesories.

Is there a particular set of rechargeable batteries I should get? I see several on amazon but not sure which brand to get.

I was also wondering on the size of the replacement batteries but also the stock git2 battery. Are they the same size?

The reason i ask is becasue I plan on getting this:

The handle has a waterproof storage that can fit the gopro batteries and was wondering if they git2 and replacement batteries would fit also.

Also, are there any other accesories you recommend to get? Going on vacation and will be doing some water activities...swiming/snorkling/wind surfing as wel as hiking and sight seeing.

GoPro batteries are not compatible, don't know if a Gitup one would fit into a Gopro battery storage space though.

Gitup's 1000 mAh battery is recommended, don't be fooled by ones that claim higher capacity, although any SJ4000 compatible battery should fit which gives you a fair amount of choice.

The SJCam batteries work fine for me, together with the charger:

These batteries are about 1 mm smaller on one side, but that doesn't matter. And the slightly smaller capacity doesn't make a difference to me when they are in use.

This is not guaranteed. While git2 can fit Hero 3/4 accessories, the housing shape of the git2 vs Hero 3/4 are very different. If you really want this floaty thingy, your best option is to pair it with an actual Hero 3/4 housing. But, no harm in trying it out and see what happens.
