I bought two CR-500HD's about a year ago, w/ GPS modules and filters; over $900 at the time.
Two of the cams had issues, and were replaced w/o issue by Alex of blackboxmycar.com. (he's always been great!).
Now, the GPS module on one of my units is taking hours to lock on, and the mph reading goes in and out (so it is only working intermittently). I have been going through the same issues with a Panorama IIS bought just a few months ago.
I have read a few posts where the issue with the Panorama was remedied by removing the battery in the GPS module. Does anyone know if this is an issue with all GPS modules, and if so, why are the manufacturers not making any provisions for this?
