No that was the older SG9665GC V1 from a few years ago. The GPS cable was long enough to reach the dashboard back then.

The newest SG9665GC V3, SGGCX2, and SD9663DC comes with a short cable GPS meant to stick directly to the windshield. (Upper corner) The antenna is already pre-flipped inside.

If it's a short cable (about 3') it's designed to be mounted on the windshield. Only the GPS units with a longer cable need to be 'flipped'. I'm not sure when SG started supplying the 'pre-flipped' shorter cables.

Edit: Damn, I should have known someone from SG would jump in before I got done typing.
