I got around most of the issues with the GS9000, but there is a software issue which still bugs me.
The firmware often freezes on startup. The cam boots up, but none of the timestamps move and it doesn't record. You can see video on the display move, but everything else is frozen and unresponsive. The cam doesn't turn off by itself anymore and you have to press reset to restart the cam or wait for the battery to be drained (and then time/date is lost AGAIN).
When it happens, it's always on start-up.
I'm using firmware from foxoffer. Is there different firmware without this bug?
