Hi,

I've just found new firmware for GS90C dash cam, it probably works also for G90C as both are using A7LA70 chipset.

G90-ZX-AMC-2508-S7L

New features which I've noticed:
  • Much bigger font of date and speed displayed on display while recording
  • Over Speed warning for defined speed between 60 and 110 km/h
  • HDR recording mode for 1920x1080 30P
Missing :
  • Speed indicator in MPH unit (only KM/H)

  3. Insert microsd card to the camera
  4. Turn on camera while connected to external power source (PC/car charger)
  5. Confirm firmware update on camera
  6. Wait through 6 stages of update, camera will turn itself off after update
  7. Turn your camera on
  8. Delete firmware.bin from microsd card or format it
  9. (optionally) reset camera to default settings

G90 and G90C are not the same chipset. GS90C and G90C both use the A7LA70. The G90 uses the A7LA30 I believe and the G90A uses the A7LA50. I think that's how the series goes.

Oh, sorry, of course I meant G90C. Thanks, changed the OP to avoid confusion.

I have bought a 'Tacklife NEO TN640' off ebay. It is basically a G90A ,A7LA50 chipset. The firmware on this dashcam is ...G90-TL-AMB-2997-N7Y. This looks to be the latest firmware for the A7LA50. The Dash cam cost me £22.00, not bad.
