There is a new model Shadow GT450W released.
It is based on same hardware / specificification as DOD / TioTech LS300W / GT300W series.
It is ordered by ShadowTec from TioTech.
Form factor is quite small so it won't be that visible from outside.
No GPS at the moment but probably next model will have External GPS module inside mounting bracket.
It have an option to add a logo ( your car make / model ) and car numberplate stamp.

Some taobao sellers has it up for sale:

Price for international buyer at the moment is hefty 225-235usd. There are only 2 Aliexpress sellers sell them at the moment ( 10 July '13 ):

http://www.aliexpress.com/item/New-arri ... 25604.html

But when other resellers will step in, then price will go down for sure.
Need to wait what Foxoffer has on offer. They always had competitive price.

size is good but the form factor might be difficult to work with for some vehicles, very hard to come up with a one size fits all solution though (as I know all too well), main reason there will never be one ideal solution that works for everyone I guess

be interesting to see how well it works with GPS, this has been a challenge on previous versions

Starting at: $115.99 @ FoxOffer

I agree, it is very hard to find one size fits all, especially with LCD screen.
I had few years ago perfect discrete size dash camera, smallest gps car dvr in the world Selfic cube 7100

I must say you can not go more clever with form factor vs size and operations functionality. 360 degree rotation, all buttons at the back, built in gps etc. Super tiny size.
At that time it was top of the line. I liked it a lot and it still nr 1 dash cam for me from point of size / form factor.
I wish developer would go from VGA to FullHd and other modern specs using same form factor, but it looks l like they never moved further with that particular model, however it needed only changing older hardware components to a new modern ones with higher specs where size of those hardware components stays same, so in theory it would be possible, but they didnt go further with it. Pity.

that cube is a great size, no doubt if it went full HD it would have grown in size, remote cams can get down smaller than that though which is probably the way for the most discrete solutions

looks great curious to see raw videos to compare whit my ls300w

The GT450W use same solution as GT300W, but support multiple language.

Have anyone bought one yet? I'm wanting to buy my first dash cam but not sure which one to pick from for a price within $100-$150 range and this one looks pretty nice, just worried about future support (as in firmwares)

Wow polish supported B-)

What are the quality issues with the LS300W?

none , LS300W is perfect camera. i just hope hold hot days incoming October 2013 - May 2014
apart this i have no complains day quality is perfect and night is very clearly , overexpose sometimes but well nothing is perfect.
but for price i paid for my ls300w has a excellent Cust X Quality Ratio

thats why i argued no improvements , quality on gt450w looks very closely my ls300w.

something strange about GT450W , i can´t find on website of Tiotech , you sure its a Tiotech model ?

GT450W was ordered by Shadow Tec based on this model:

http://www.tiotech.com/solution_info.ph ... 1&title=51

I assume Shadow Tec asked TioTech to use same shell / body as on GS650 and change Hardware to new generation ( NT96650 + AR0330 + 6G lens etc. )
Anyone with a big order ( 500-1000pcs ) can approach TioTech to modify dash camera to specifications they need.
