Nice - your English is better than mine mate :)

Good review and really your English is great. I taught English for 5 years in Mexico, so I'm qualified to say that :p

If I ever buy another Mini in the future, I will be asking for a manual with exact specifications, and they better be right.
I'm just tired of the confusing manuals that make me buy things I don't want.
The box isn't important, the manual isn't important, and working features also isn't important.
I wonder what's important, making as much money as possible perhaps?

In the end I'm still unsure whether they have send me the 0803 or the 0805, because I'm pretty sure there are also 0803's with different lenses.
The only thing left is to open my new 0803? and that's exactly what I don't want.
I removed the original firmware immediately after I noticed the mute bug was still there.

In video I said that is not important how is looking the box because you can receive in another box. Because of chinese fakes reputation, after watching my video some people will be afraid to buy a real 0805 just because the retail box is different. Yes, it can be different that mine because is possible that some big sellers to want their own box even the camera is the same. Big stores can also put their logo on it. But in many cases people will pay more just for the logo and its reputation.
I agree with manuals, but unfortunately this is how too many chinese manufacturers are working. I am sure that just for one camera as gift some forum user which knows english can help them correcting their manuals. They are considering that manuals and even perfect description is not important. They are thinking that if you buy cheap you have no right to ask more.
In the video I explained how you will be sure you have 0805, based on camera settings at the resolutions options. The lens are possible to change but in the good way.

After my tests I can say the 0805 is better than 0803 and maybe this is just because of new CMOS sensor OV4689 which is used instead of AR0330. The AR0330 is better in WDR mode than HDR mode of OV4689 for low light conditions, by adding more brightness but with the price of strange colors.

I added new video comparisons of 0805.

enjoy,

MTZ; The 805 looks to be superior in HDR mode on or off. Do any tweeking of settings improve the A118? Thank you

I had the A118 just for a short time, for comparisons, and using the same settings for both cameras. Windshield reflections seems more evident on A118 compared to 0805.

Back to 0805 (firmware 20141125), here is a static image comparison of all resolutions of the camera.

I'm just about to take on a 0805 review as well. Hopefully I can help add some good information and between us here we can really give the 0805 a good look over. You always do great work.
Love the GIFs

Mtz,
No need to apologize about your English. According to our British cousins, us Americans ruin the "English" language.

I really enjoyed your review of the Mini 0806. I want one. I am sold. More to come, I hope.

Latest firmware is adding MPH as option for Speed Unit. Download link from the first post.
MPH for 0805.jpg
Ignore the green words from left image because are from my PC player (MPC-HC).

Also just to let you know the Foxoffer link comes back as product not found.

I was uploading the file. Please check again first post.

Thanks just flashed. I'm taking it out now and trying out HDR mode a little more this evening.

I flashed 20141204 and am having some issues. I'll post about it in my review thread so that I don't clutter yours

Rookie mistake. Ignore my previous post.
That's okay happens to all of us. Sometimes you have to hit it twice once to turn the screen on and a second to use the mute function.

Is there some hint for no GPS locking. In menu GPS is set to ON but icon on screen shows there is no GPS signal.
GPS file is created for each video and it contains some information:

GPS signal is available in test area and my cell phone locks it in seconds while siting in a car.
