Hardwire kit

Does the hardwire kit give you the ability to turn parking mode on or off. I was looking thru the manual and it is not clear if it can be done or how to do it.
Also if I just wanted to hardwire without the parking module, I assume I would just need to tap into an accessory fuse with a female cigarette lighter socket and used the supplied cigarette lighter adapter to get the required 5v to power the camera?

If you park in a private garage you can long press the power button to turn off the camera s needed. It will auto startup next engine start.

you could do that, or you could remove the cig plug for hardwiring, we don't put the convertor in the plug so that it can be used for hardwiring
