Dash Cam
Viofo A119
Hi all,

First post here. I just ordered a Spy Tec/Viofo A119 Dash Cam along with a 12v/5v converter and a fuse tap kit. I have been searching through the forum to ensure I purchased the correct parts but just wanted to make sure.

Converter - https://www.amazon.com/gp/B00I3P6QQG
I noticed this says it converts it to 1.2A, will this be enough for my cam?

Fuse tap - https://www.amazon.com/gp/B014K93ROM
My vehicle uses mini-fuses, but my question is: which of the included fuses should I be using for the dash cam? I have seen a lot of threads saying anywhere from 2-5A but I just want to be sure.

Thank you!

Spytec have also the hardwire kit with discharge protection voltage at 11.6V.

1.2A is enough if the adapter is good quality and the value is real.

2-5A fuse for dashcam is OK.

enjoy,
Mtz

Your good with both of those. I'd use the 2a fuse for the tap kit.

Yeah I was going to buy that adapter at first but read some reviews mentioning issues with cable length. I chose the other one so I could use the usb cable included with the cam itself.

Thank you!

Awesome, thank you!
