Hardwiring kits - Can I still use?

Hi there! Just wondering if anyone could give me some info on the hardwire kit I currently have installed.

I purchased a Halfords HDC a while ago but recently was given a Road Angel Halo cam. I’d already hardwired the HDC into my Focus, but would it be at all possible to use the same hardwire kit for the Road Angel?

As I’ve seen most cams seem to be 5v with a 2amp fuse, but if anyone could shine some light on this, it would be much appreciated!

Welcome to DCT @zetec5s
If the plug is a USB type and fits into the cam, the HWK will probably work. I'd test it with the cam not mounted while parked, or with the cam supported temporarily. If it boots, records, and loop-records to the next file you're probably OK.
