Has anyone ever bought the knockoff GT300's?

I bought my first dash cam, a GS8000L off aliexpress for like $24 and when browsing the other day, mostly curious if i can find something that can use class 10's since class 4 and 6 are almost non existent now, I cam across GT300's for about $30. Does anyone have any major experience with these vs the higher priced ones?

you only get what you pay for, sometimes less

the housings for these are public models which means they are available to anyone and they come with all different solutions, in this price range it only ends in tears

I did find one, about $50 with a Novatek 96650 processor. I'm debating if I should pull the trigger or not. To be fair my GS8000L is working fine, but I know that in another year or so class 4 will be basically impossible to find.

Be aware many low cost cameras have a plastic lens housing and plastic lens base which will result in heat focus shift if you live in a warm climate.
