HDMI Rear Camera Output?

Is there a way to have the rear camera display show up on the HDMI output? Maybe a setting to keep it on rear view after the camera has turned on? Would be useful for making a recording reverse camera setup.
 
When the HDMI cable connected it will stop recording. that is novatek SDK limited I think, this also happens on Ambarella
