If we record with the cam and connect to a hdtv via hdmi, why can't we playback our footages?
I don't see the point. Why is the hdmi connector on it? Only for live viewing?
Oh yes, for focus adjusting :(

But i thinked, most people like or think to use this connector for reviewing footages.
Why don't implement it the manufacturer?
Any chance for hacked fw, script, etc?

thanks

Its also used in multi copter hobby for FPV.
That is the main reason its implemented.

For hobby (an this cheap cam is definetly for hobby..) we use analog usb output, don't we?

No idea, I am not interested in flying around with drones, but I think its for FPV. Hopefully some multi rotor expert can clarify this to us.

Yes, i'm a multirotor expert too, so we use microusb analog output for 5.8g transmission.

I frequently run one of these with the hdmi out to preview/monitor. I'd like it to be a few mm further apart from the USB so I could run off usb power as well. Oh well.

yes, some people maybe use it for live preview in hd quality. but how much?
I think most people like to review their daily footage on the hotel room's lcd tv..
