Heat vs cam

Hello guys,

I have notice that my cam sometimes go for 15+ hrs on parking mode and other times just for like maybe 6 hrs. I kept on wondering what the difference was on each occasion. Well I remember that my dashcam has a temperature cut off and the weather is getting hotter and hotter as we are almost in summer. So I was wondering if any of you have any ideas on how to keep your camera cool without blocking it's view or leaving the window a bit open.

Two possibilities:
- Park in the shade.
- Park where the sun does not bear directly on the cam later in the day when it is hottest.

The Garmin 55 just got a firmware update to fix similar problems, so other manufacturers might be able to do this too ;)
