Hello its my first post U1000 power

Hello , decided to get one of these dashcam things. A Thinkware U1000, wired it up and wait for it..........
Nothing
Got power from the hardwire kit up to the end of connector. But no play or light. Scratching head at this point. Unless I've fried it somehow. Tha ks again HB

Turn on the ignition & drive ?

Seen on install videos it lights up and gives notifications. Its not doing any of that.

Anyone got any advice?

Try it connected to normal 12v & not the hardwired way . Or external usb power bank . Check settings to see power on options but it should start from usb external power bank .If that works then it is an issue with the hardwire kit or connection to cars fuse box. An Auto electrician is your friend.
