Help please

Hi folks
I purchased a dash cam through ebay. Quality is brilliant, but....
I am using it with the plug in mini pinhead camera plug in that came with it and have mounted that on the front window.
The issue is that on playback, the picture seems inverted- In the uk we drive on the left, in the playback it seems like I am driving on the right etc.
Ant=y ideas why or how to correct?
Any replies would be gratefully received
