How about a 5 minutes installation ODB version "Power Magic Pro"?

Do you like this alternative solution and will give a try?

Many customers complained the PMP installation took too long time to install.
So we designed a prototype OBD power adaptor for BlackVue dash cameras.
It is quite simple to install. You just need to plug the OBD connector to your OBD port under the steering wheel and connect the DC part to the dashcam. You can press the switch to turn the parking recording off. It supports continuously park recording and will cut off when battery voltage lower than 12V.

An interesting concept. I don't see the switch (for turning of / on parking mode) that you reference. Is it built into the OBD connector?

Would you be able to disable parking recording but maintain accessory power recording through OBD similar to the PMP switched to the (O) position?
Might also want to make sure there's no issues with auto start stop (sometimes voltage drops below 12.0 in start/stop situations)

Sounds very interesting...!! I'd try it ..!!
