How do you detach the camera from the GPS mount?

On the A129, how does the GPS mount detach from the camera? Assuming in mounted position, ie facing the camera screen, do I pull the cam down or up, left or right? Or do I pull away? Mine came from Viofo with the GPS mount attached. Instruction manual doesn’t address this! I need to know so that when I mount the camera, there is proper clearance to detach the camera from the GPS mount if necessary. Thanks in advance.

PS Also, should I wait for the CPL filter to arrive before mounting the camera? Any clearence issues to consider with the CPL filter when deciding on a mounting location?

Hold the mount and slide the camera to the right. CPL won't pose any clearance issue.
