How do you downgrade to factory firmware?

if your firmware starts with B40 that's the copy version camera, you can generally install another B40 version firmware without too much problem, if you install an A118 version firmware you are likely to have stability problems as the hardware spec is different

it is not stable when used on B40 hardware, they use different memory etc, others have tried previously and just ended up going back to B40 firmware

if it's working now I'd advise against changing it, the hardware can change from production to production and there's no guarantee that newer B40 firmware will be matched to the hardware you have

for your A118 cam that one is ok to update if there's a newer version

i they are both the same unit b40 with capacitor ...start screen is has the same logo and colour as well is the menu but have write 2 different firmware numbers strange !!

The old B40 came from the original supplier, the buyers got greedy and wanted a cheaper version, the copy version has been around for about 8 months or so now
