The trend now is (often fake) 4k dash cams. Apparently most dash cams currently trying to use 4k do not do well with it. We all know that development takes time. It is better to use better quality lower pixel image cams than higher pixel count poorer quality cams. What is a reasonable time to expect new cameras that work well after new better specification hardware becomes available? Would 18 months be realistic or does it take much longer?
Also, what should we look for that will work in -20 f (- 29 c)weather?
