Hi Alexsoll, thanks very much for this link in the other thread. I'll only have the chance to do this in the later part of the day, but I've some questions before I go any further...hope you'll help to assist. Thanks very much.
You were saying:
a) Turn on the 550, activate wi-fi on the dashcam and your computer and connect to the network. Turn on wifi with the SDcard? Because when i put in the sdcard into the cam, it'll keep saying "the version information is different" and I can't do anything to it. If I turn off the 550 without the sdcard (plug in the power cable), it'll keep repeating something in korean (I assume its speaking "the version information is different" in korean) and I also can't do anything to it. How to I connect to the network and which network?
b) Wait 15 seconds and reboot the dashcam. I can just unplug and plug in the power cable right?
c) Now you can flash your 550 to the latest official English firmware (v.2.0) How do I flash my 550? Is it from the earlier 2 unzipped folders which I copy into the root of the memory card?

Upgrade my Korean Ver Cam to Ver.2.0 first.
Download: http://yadi.sk/d/foo3KToKLVQmW
Put two unzipped folders into the root of the memory card, agree to the substitution (if prompted by Windows)
Turn on the 550 with the sd card with the 2 new folders, activate wi-fi on the dashcam and connect your computer to the wifi of the camera.
On your computer, launch the internet browser and type http://192.168.8.1/Config/eng.cgi into the address bar
Wait about 15 seconds then reboot your dashcam.
When the dashcam is back on, it should have English voice prompts.
Now you can flash your 550 to the latest official English firmware (v.2.0), without getting incompatibility errors.

Thanks Alex, I sucessfully update english speaking with my Korran 550 v2.0 but still I have the time issue. how could I fix it? Noted that GPS working now but time is wrong 1hr faster and no changes even I set to different GMT time zone.
