as per title, how do I delete the speed cam data once the file has been loaded into camera?

Umm my guess is if you were to look at the SD Card you would see that it's not there anymore, not sure what you're trying to delete.

I think the question is how to the remove the GPS/speed data that is encoded into the video file. My guess is that it will require some specialised software that does this.

cause I found up once I on the speedcam feature, the cam will automatic restart 2 times. It seem like is the smrtguidepoint.dx2 file causing it as before without the files, it didn't happens at all.

nop, i have no intention to remove the GPS/speed data value in video file.

in that case, just reformat the microsd card that you're using in the dashcam, I've found that I've had to reinstall the information after formatting the card, so I would assume that should do the trick.

somehow reformat microsd card won't fix it as the file already loaded inside the cam. the speedcam version still available in dash cam info there.

Have you tried using the reset button on the dashcam?

You'll need a special cable with a custom connector that connects to the port covered by the black plastic at the top of the F800 Pro.

Then need to use a laptop to delete the smartguidepoint.dx2 file in the F800 Pro's ROM via command prompt. Then have to flash with Netherlands firmware as it doesn't use the speed cam data.

After that no more restart.

You'll need to off the F800 Pro and take out the micro SD and default format it via a Windows PC. Start the F800 Pro and wait for the "GPS is connected" prompt and quickly insert back the micro SD. Then you won't get the restarts after that.

This trick works but once you take out micro SD from the F800 Pro and insert it back in. It will keep restarting again. Then you'll need to do the steps above again.

Formatting via the F800 Pro will get the restarts.

I'm waiting for the Malaysia firmware which will solve this issue.

Hi Jeremy,
I discover that disable the safety camera will do the trick also, the F800pro so far so good with no restart.
