How to hardwire Mifi to Cellink Neo battery?

I have a Cellink Neo hardwired to my car and would also like it to power a Mifi device. I have connected a female cigarette lighter socket to the B+ and ground wires of the battery. As soon as I insert a USB cigarette lighter adapter into the socket it draws all of the power and the dash cam turns off.

Need help fixing this or a better setup suggestion if you think there is one.
