How to play video after I am done driving?

The dashcam won't turn on if I turn my car off and thus I can't view the recorded videos. Let's say if I want to show a recorded incident to the cop. How do I fix this ? I am talking about the A118. Thanks
 
I think and I am not sure because I dont have A118,you need to put your micro sd card out of your cam and insert it in your card reader in your laptop computer,or a desktop computer and you can watch your recorded videos also maybe you need a dashcamviewer to see your videos from a dashcam.
I wanted to help but I havent expirience with A118,hope I am not sending you to the wrong path.:)
 
You can also watch the videos on the camera itself. Just stop the recording by pressing the 'Record' button then go into the menus to select which files to watch. With the small screen on the camera some other method (laptop, phone, etc.) is probably a better option.

Nothing happens When I push any buttons on that dashcam after I turn off my car . It is dead after turn off my car and remove from my car

You need some power source. The two most common are a battery pack or a USB cell phone charger.

I am sorry but what is OTG and wifi card reader? I have two dashcams A118 and the anker Roav. The former goes dead if I turn off my car and remove it meaning I can't turn it on or view any videos. The later has an App called Roav which connects to wifi on my cell phone but it disconnects so fast because the dashcam turns off after 30 secs. Therefore unless I plug in a power cord I can't watch videos. How do I show any recorded incidents to a cop then? Seems meaningless to just record but not able to play without being plugged in

So how do I show the video to a cop then? I won't have battery pack or USB cellphone charger at the crash scene or in the police station

My iPhone is the IPhone 7 which has the lightening port not the usual headphone jack. The OTG adapter can play video from the dashcam on my iPhone 7? The dashcam will power on when connected to my iPhone using the OTG adapter? Also what is and how will wifi card reader play videos from my dashcam to my iPhone 7? Thanks

I don't have an iPhone but to the best of my knowledge the answers are 'Yes' and 'Yes'.

You must have this USB OTG adapter with you all the time and so do all the dashcam owners right? Otherwise, how can you show evidence to the cop to clear yourself at the scene or at the police station?
I will have to find the right "OTG Adapter for my IPhone 7" and for the Dashcam because I have 2 dashcams and they use different usb cables. The usb charging cable for A118 doesn't work in my anker Roav dashcam. I don't know if they are both called mircro usb cable.


I found this https://www.amazon.com/gp/B014VGHG0U is this the OTG adapter? One end goes to my iphone and what about the other end? It is to insert the SD card from the dashcam?

Yeah this one works great, it's too bad they tripled the price and they are no longer shipping faster Prime.
Hopefully they are have more produced in the near future and will return the price back to $10 (along with FBA Prime offering)

it is not available on amazon and sold by amazon. There is a third party seller for this but I avoid them because many of them are fake and crappy quality. Can you give me exact wording so i can google to see if any other stores sell this?Below that, there is an option for upgraded version but don't know if this will work on Iphone 7 ? https://www.amazon.com/gp/B01HB927A8
