HP F210 vs HP F310

Is it worth getting the newer F310? (but more expensive)

Does anyone know if the picture quality is better?

For anyone who may still be interested:

I doubt that there is much difference in the picture quality. The HP f310 is an improved version of the f210 with two additional features (“Smart Screen Mode” and “Driver Fatigue [1-hour] Alert”) and a slightly wider angle lens. Both are full high definition 1080p cameras.

Technical specs differences are as follows:

• The f210’s is a wide angle F 2.4, f=3.0 mm.
  The f310’s is a wide angle F 1.9, f=2.95.

• The f210’s effective pixels are 2,304 x 1,536.
  The f310’s effective pixels are 2,048 x 1,536.
• The f210 has a 128-degree angle of view.
  The f310 has a 130-degree angle of view.

Both cameras use the same problematic slightly shaky suction cup mount. A better compatible mount is the # PANOGSK suction cup at Pier28.com/Amazon.com.

Currently the f210 is $123 USD at Amazon, while the f310 is $160. At the price of the f310 plus an improved mounting bracket you’re starting to approach the price of something like the Panorama G # SGZC12SGSK, which has much better video quality, a much wider 154-degree angle of view and comes with several mounting brackets.
