I think you mean "Sold by Amazon". Sold AND Fulfilled by Amazon is the safest bet. Fulfilled by Amazon simply means they shipped it, but it could have been sold by any seller who sells on Amazon through their FBA (fulfilled by Amazon) option.
 
I have gotten a card from a amazon shop, RMA was just as good as if it was Amazon that sold it to me.
But as always better safe ( and a little more poor ) than sorry.
