Okay so what's a good replacement? Under $100, the gt300w of today if you will.

I got to thinking further about your request to find a replacement for your failed GT300W and came up with a suggestion, the Shadow GT55oWS which is still available from Foxoffer. It is in essence a GT300W and is virtually identical in appearance and performance. It will even accept the same mounts you now have from your old GT300W and it sells for $85.99; well within your budget. Because it is a Shadow product you have a name brand product from the same company that made the GT300W rather than buying a random generic camera of questionable origin. My previous experience with Shadow cameras, both the GT300W and the GT680W was very positive as has been my experience buying from FoxOffer. If you are willing to spend $119.00 you can get the GT550WS with GPS, assuming that might be of interest to you.

Just a thought for you to ponder as you shop around for a new dash cam.
