If I am not taking advantage of parking mode is the DR590 overkill?

Looking for a new dash cam with the following wishlist;

• One front and one rear camera.
• Preferably no LCD screen.
• Do not care about recording the interior cabin.
• Do not care about GPS.
• Probably will not take advantage of parking mode since I do not want to hardwire to fuse box (for now) or pay gobs of extra for the battery pack.
• Wishlist for wifi / app connectivity but not a deal breaker either way.

I go back and forth on the Blackvue DR950, aesthetically its pleasing, but its one of the pricier options out there and if I am not taking advantage of parking mode am I overpaying on features I will never use? Basically, is there a similar alternative out there sans parking mode that I can save some money on?

If that's the case I'd focus on video quality (day and night )and reliability.
