Hello All -
Looking for advice on current dash cam and recommendations for new ones.
I Received a Nextbase 522GW for Christmas 2020 and it worked reasonably well. Just recently the SD card failed and I purchased (and later returned) a generic one that advertised compatibility with the 522GW. So now I've purchased a replacement SD card made by Nextbase for $59.99 +tax that I have to go pick up from a retailer in a narrow time window like it's not 2022. I would appreciate if anyone has figured out a solution to being forced to buy a branded SD card every year or so in order to keep using the dash cam that I technically own.
That situation notwithstanding, I am still looking to pick up a couple of dash cams for my daughters. Looking for affordable, reliable, doesn't need rearview, at least 4 hours storage, and not Nextbase. Recommendations?
