having am radio static from rear cam tried ferrite collars on cables as I use am in country areas Any clues?

The rear camera is glued to the antenna, if you try to push it away for an experiment for some distance - will the interference be gone? The source of interference at such a close distance may be a video sensor. In this case, you need to put a screen on it (or on the rear camera), even a foil

I've experienced this and wrapping the connection of the rear camera to the rear camera cable with aluminum foil helped improve the radio reception. Also storing the excess cable on the headliner on top of the b pillar helped too as the excess was previously located behind the C pillar trim where the antenna amplifier is located in my car.
