Initial Recording when attached to permanent 12v supply

I have the 70Mai pro dash cam and having an issue with the recording.
It is plugged in to a permanent 12V power supply.
When I set off in the morning the camera doesn't start recording straight away. It records after about 9 mins into the journey.
I have parking mode enabled at high sensitivity and delay of 20 mins.
Anyone else experiencing this issue?

My suggestion is to hardwire the dash cam. its a problem in the firmware with power trigger.

If you turn accessories on first, wait 5 seconds then start the car, it should eliminate the problem.
But mostly has to do with the dash cam being in surveillance mode when starting the car, it gets power and begins to power on and turn off surveillance mode, but then the car starts and loses power momentarily which causes it to fail to power on.
