Hi everyone,

I bought my parents a 512GW and 512GWRC for Christmas. I'm reasonably technichally minded but neither Dad nor I can see how to best feed the cable through to the rear dash cam without damaging the interior of the car. Does anyone have advice based on installing in a Vauxhall Insignia Sports Tourer? We've watched the videos some have posted, however to replicate how they've done it, we'd be breaking panels to do so. Any advice would be gratefully received.

Thank you,

Louise

Normally, the door jamb rubber seals just pull off, allowing you to get the cable into the roof lining. Most plastic panels are just clipped on and will come off with a bit of judicial work with a plastic pry tool.
Us a stainless steel insert from an old wiper blade to pull/push the cable though small gaps.
