Anyone else having issue with the While Balance on the Interior camera? My seat is black and the final color is violet.

Here an example of the video:

That's normal for your interior camera.

All digital camera sensors are inherently sensitive to the near infra-red spectrum and slightly above. For this reason all digital cameras such as dash cams are fitted with IR-Cut filters to filter out IR light between about 650nm and 1000nm. The IR (infra-red) cut filter blocks the near infra-red spectrum and this allows your camera's sensor to provide normal color balance.

Your interior camera is designed to see in the dark and it is fitted with IR LED emitters to illuminate your car interior at night. The IR emitters on your interior camera would not function if the camera sensor was fitted with an IR-Cut filter.

The result will be that the camera will provide a black and white image at night but during the day the colors will be "off". Some colors look very different under infra-red light than you might expect. Dark red often looks light grey, for example.

The main thing you need to know is that if you do not have an IR-cut filter on a digital camera sensor you will end up with a purplish or magenta tint or hue to the image. Typical results might look like this image:

Here is an example image from a camera fitted with an IR-Cut filter during daylight hours.

Here is what an image from the same camera looks like without an IR-Cut filter.
