introduce new cam (D6)

I think this is overpriced for the specification it offers, I'd expect poor results from this model, Novatek chipset and 1.3mp CMOS the resolutions must be interpolated to achieve the claimed 1080 results

i dont test picture quality yet.

but you are wrong, image quality doesnt related with resolution of image (exception for lower resolutions)

image quality related with optics quality and sensor quality, if your optics or sensor are bad than doesnt matter your sensor resolution

also 1.3megapixel gives 1280x1024 native resolution (1280x1024= 1310720 = 1.3megapixel)

hd720 =1280x720 = 921600 = 0.9megapixel

hd1080 = 1920x1080 = 2073600 = 2megapixel

it has a 1.3mp sensor yet offers 1920x1080 resolution, trying to get 2,073,600 pixels of information from 1,300,000 available pixels can only be from interpolation

Novatek is a lesser quality solution to begin with, pair this with optics that are below the resolution on offer and the results will not be great, I'm not sure what you feel is so great about this model, it's a low end camera and I'd expect the results to reflect that

i dont test picture quality yet,

my expectation doesnt high for this cam,

but your evaluation criteria is wrong, major picture quality parameters are optics quality and sensor quality not resolution

you cant say 2mp cameras picture quality is better than 1.3mp camera picture quality (because major parameters is sensor quality and optics quality)

this is why 6mp canon eos camera pictures better than 12mp kodak camera pictures

I agree that the sensor and lens is important to the end result however the likelyhood of this cam having high quality optics is very slim, the fact that it offers 1080p with hardware that's not even capable of 1080p suggests that, it is priced accordingly as well, price is possibly a bit high based on specification but this is more likely because it's a new design and they cost a bit more when new, put the same spec in a GS1000 chassis and you'd be paying USD $30 for it
