Hi All
I have got Front and Rear IROAD FX2 Pro installed on Mazda CX5 2025 and I have been struggling to connect an iPhone 13 with updated IOS although
1-I turned on Aireplane mode on the iPhone
2-Disconnected Mazda Apple Car play
3-Restarted DashCam by pressing side button
4-Restarted the iPhone
5-Using DashCam default password as I hadn't changed the password

What else I need to consider ?
Thx

1. Disable VPN (obviously only if installed)
2. Remove unit from car
3. Power unit away from the car using a suitable power source
4. Remove / forget car unit from your phone
5. Remove forget dashcam from your phone
6. On your phone search for the Dashcam and reconnect.
7. Attempt connection to unit.

Newer car stereos will dominate for connection hence the reason to try connecting away from the car.

Everything LateralNW said, and also;

Turn Off Airplane Mode โœˆ๏ธ
Turn On Wi-Fi ๐Ÿ›œ
Turn On Bluetooth แ›’
Turn On Cellular Data ๐Ÿ“ถ
Turn On Location Services โ†—๏ธ (Privacy & Security) โœ‹
After successful connection you can go back, and turn everything OFF/ON to your liking.

Oh yeah, confirm & verify dashcam Firmware is the latest version.
Also delete, and re-install APP to iPhone to make sure you have the latest APP version.
I just checked and there are 5 Different IROAD APPs in the Apple APP Store.
How do you know which is the correct one for your dashcam?

Thx LateralNW,,,,,,,If I did : "Forget this network" for the car unit and disable "Auto-Join" that should be sufficient to prevent the domination of the stereo ,,,,,shouldn't it ?
And I did try my son's iPhone which is not connected to the stereo at all means no possibility for the stereo domination connection,,,,,,, still his iPhone not getting connected

No joy on both iPhones and I did what what you advised
The app is the first app in your snapshot list it was advised by installer and it was working, yes was working
Just now I installed the same app on my son iPhone means updated app , still same issue

If you paid an installer for the camera, and installation I would take it back to him for assistance.
You may want to SUBMIT A TICKET with IROAD for tech support.

@zillah Did you do this? Page 8 and 9 good information. If you have and still no joy then take the unit inside the house, away from the car and power it up with a power bank, (take notice to use the correct voltage), and see if you can connect to the unit with it away from the car. Also disconnect any VPN.

No it's not the same.

You only need to remove the unit from the windscreen take it inside the house and start from the beginning.

Because you're have problems reset the camera.
Make sure you are using the correct voltage to run it inside the house.

Delete the app.
Delete/ forget the network.

Start the setup as if it was brand new.

Good luck.

there was a software update for the app today from what i seen. i am guessing it was fixed.
