Got a 7inch touch screen mirror dvr.
When put in reverse I get a cropped screen like in the 1st photo where 2 metres of angle on the top and bottom are cropped. The image seems to be zoomed to fit the widescreen. The programming is the problem. The darn thing has a 3 minute screen saver also. Too long.
The 2nd photo is the full capability of the rear camera giving much better wide angle which is how it should be. This angle is only shown on video playback of recorded rear cam.
No solutions in the menu.
The device is unusable for reverse parking. Which is one of the main motivations for buying a dash camera.....having it all in one.
I need help finding another mirror camera without this issue. I don't want to get burned again. I feel like others will be like this.

The cheap reverse cameras in the vans at my workplace show the rear step and enough of the road to act as a driving rear cam recorder.
