I'm considering buying a Yi as a dashcam (or the new dashcam version). I see that you can do manual video exposure with scripting.
Is it possible to keep auto exposure on but set a shutter speed limit so it's never slower than a specific time?
This would allow for normal operation during the day where there is plenty of light but then avoid motion blur at night where the shutter speed would normally drop down to 1/30th of a second which prevents license plates being captured.
