Good choice if you buy one. I have been well pleased with mine. But I do not use the rear camera and film at the highest resolution. Just make sure you get a good quality high speed SD Card for it and beware of fake SD cards.

Thanks, I am well aware of SD card quality these days. The first job I do when I receive one is to check it with h2testw.

You can find pro pack (both main and secondary camera) on Ebay for $79.95, which seems to be noticeably cheaper compared to prices listed on gitup site.

That' looks like a great deal. It is a pity that it says 'Does not ship to United Kingdom '.

At present I am leaning toward getting a new Git 2, partly because I have a lot of batteries and accessories.
