I know you can connect your phone via wifi but is there a dashcam that records and sends it straight to somewhere on say your computer folder or like say a video bank on a website without you having to do anything? The reason I ask is because I can use my phone as a hotspot and get it connected to wifi so it has internet access but I am just wondering if there is such a feature on some dashcams. I am not sure if this is legit or not but something like this. https://www.samsara.com/page/dash-c...7AZbOI_0Cg1D7uJ36tEAkEWAzuGcKlthoCZMQQAvD_BwE Not even sure if thats uploaded to the cloud live, like for example youtube live, facebook live etc... I know I can just record my desktop screen with if its facebook live etc... but I was wondering if there was such a feature for dash cams. I do like my viofo v2 but I wish that it can directly record to some sort of website live so for example someone broke in my car and stole it or something happens then I can just have a recording of it on my desktop instead of taking the sd card out.

I am not sure that it complete covers what you want, but try to look at Thinkware. Thinkware have a cloud service. If you want to upload footage direct to the cloud, I guess even LTE is not fast enough.

A few companies offer cloud file saving, but it isn't designed for security-type usage as it is too slow for that. At home you could use an IP cam for the purpose if you can devise a way to power it. It's not technically impossible, but cost, size, powering, and convenience come into play which prevents it from happening. Here's my solution:

The sign says they have been uploaded to the cloud, which as we know doesn't happen, but THEY don't know this so perhaps it is effective.
