Is this a legit box from Gearbest.com

Hi,

I just purchased a G1-W from gearbest.com. I recieved the package today. It arrived in this orange none descriptive box. I was wondering if this is fake. I noticed the one on amazon is a purple box that also includes an HDMI. Mine did not include one. Can anyone confirm that this is a legit box.

Most important is hardware / firmware.

it's what is referred to as a public box, they just come from a generic box factory, specs won't always reflect what's inside

If its MOV, 12 or 15Mbps bit-rate and apperture F1.8 then it should be ok product.

I got the same box but the product was advertised as G1W NT96220. Ok for me.

96220 is the knockoff version, should be 96650

I got the G1WH with the 96650, and the G1W has the 96220.

The seller posted the G1W as H200 original with 96220 in it, which what i received. If this is a knock-off, i guess the price just justifies it!

96220 version will probably work ok, just it's 720p that's all

I've received different boxes for G1W and G1WH but same boxes for few different dashcams as well so box doesn't really matter as long as there is a box.
