Laggy, Jumpy video Clips

Memory card overwriting cycles / lifespan.
 
Is there a formula, or rule of thumb for how many cycles occur after a certain amount of continuous filming? I would say I film about 40-50 hrs a week on my work cam. What kind of life am I looking at for a typical quality SD card?

Every big name manufacturer have lifespan listed on how many time card can be overwritten, depending on the type and quality of chip used. However those figures are not always exactly what you get in real life. I usually taking -20%-30% away from what is proposed by manufacturer.
 
Well, I reformatted the card and todays footage seems to be lag free. Ill keep an eye on it fo the few next days and see if anything pops up.
