Hi
Having had so many Dashcams over the years some good some not so good:( . . I did buy one which cam with a rear cam but the cable was so thick it was impossible to squeeze it between the roof lining or pannels so I am considering buying the 522GW with the rear cam but don't want the same problem trying to fit the rear cable. . .At present, I am using a 512GW in the front & a 512G in the rear but would like both cams images on the one card . . I have a Citroen Grand Picasso so I need the cable from the front to the rear to be pretty long
and the cable not to thick. any answers or suggestions would be appreciated.
I also use this control unit to control what cam wish to use when parking via its auto timer

Hello,

The cable connecting the 522GW and Rear Window Cam is 6m.
Many Thanks
Do you know what the width of the cable is? The cable I have now is 6m but the width is 50mm & both ends have a male mini connection one straight and one at a 45deg Angle, The 50mm cable almost impossible to squeeze between the headlining

The 522 cable is thinner than the old 512 cable and easier to route.

Also helps having a round 3.5mm jack end for routing as well.

The rear screen camera has a fly lead to jack plug.
