Lexus Dash Cam

I have a “Lexus” Dash Cam on 2017 Lexus is using a 32GB class 10 /UHS-1 type SD card . I have 2 questions:

1. The Dash Cam seems to have all the bells & whistles – works great with wonderful clarity – but I’m wondering who is manufacturer?

2. After removing and viewing SD card on my Mac computer - I have to format SD card before re-inserting back into Dash Cam? Is this normal procedure?

Have no idea what the dashcam is in you car, but you should be able to just delete the recorded files and then record again.
Did you get any instruction for the dashcam like if you have to format a memory card for the dashcam and how to do this process if it's special to the dashcam or needed?
