I bought my Lukas LK-7900 ACE back in February 2014 from eBay. It's been working great until recently when it stopped powering on. I always have it plugged in to the cigarette lighter port in my car. When I turn on the engine, the blue security LED on the dash cam just keeps flashing. Nothing else happens.

I tried plugging it to a 12V DC adapter inside my house, but all I see is the security LED blinking. Any ideas what is happening and/or how to fix this? I sent an email to jokim@qrontech.com about 2 days ago but have not gotten a response.

I posted a video on youtube showing what is happening. It can be found here.

SD Card was formatted monthly. I use a 32GB SanDisk SDHC Extreme. Dash cam still has stock firmware. I tried flipping the ON/OFF button on the camera itself, but that makes no difference. Purchase date: February 2014.

Any help is greatly appreciated!

The only thing I could suggest trying is updating/ reformatting your camera.
Unfortunately it looks like it could be dead or bricked for some reason. I have no way to tell if its software or hardware related.

Thanks for your input, CalgaryDashCam.

The problem is that I can't even get it to power on to perform a firmware update.

I'm still waiting for to hear back from the manufacturer.
