Re: DVR-207 on offer at 52.99 $ - Hamsawan (Aliexpress)

Hi Lockdownsecurity,

Are you sure you are selling the DVR-207? Because your price is quite low and the box that you show in the picture is not the correct box for the DVR 207...

Re: DVR-207 on offer at 52.99 $ - Hamsawan (Aliexpress)

Hey Spytec

I am about 98% sure based on the comparison I have done between the menu of the DVR-207 and the ones we have. The box for the DVR-207 is blue in colour with a pic of the camera on it?

If it turns out to be not the real DVR-207 we will change the listing. With this particular model it's very hard to determine with 100% certainty when ordering them (on our end that is).

Re: DVR-207 on offer at 52.99 $ - Hamsawan (Aliexpress)

Hey Guys

My mistake, all references to the cam we have at $47.99 being a DVR-207 have been removed. We had received a new shipment of these from a different supplier and I had thought they were DVR-207s but I was mistaken.

Please disregard my posts and accept my apologies for the error.

Lockdown Security is pleased to show you what comes in the box of the really cool JaewonCNC IROAD-IPRO35 2 channel touchscreen equipped dash camera. This is a really nice camera, equipped with the large touchscreen for reviewing footage, high definition recording capabilities, and an easy to use user interface.

The viewing software is really cool as well, and is also very easy to use. This camera is capable of GPS location logging, speed recording, and G force recording, with all of these recordings being available to view with the included software.

We have this on sale right now for $309.99 (CAD) with free shipping. If you are in the Toronto Ontario area, we can even install this for you as well!

Beware if you are a buying from US. They don't post correct shipping prices.
I recently bought a replacement ThinkWare F750 unit from them, but I should have known the price was too good. Shipping cost was around $18 to the US, and I made sure to check their site map for any extra shipping charges for international shipping and did not find any. So, I ordered and when UPS came knocking at my door they want an extra $43 collect on delivery charge to release my package? I emailed lockdown and they don't acknowledge this fee as something they are responsible for notifying the customer of, and they refuse to do anything about it. Jeff, the owner, wrote in a response email: "
Do brokerage fees and duties suck, yep they sure do, but in the words of someone smarter than me " suck it up buttercup", there's nothing you can do about them.
Let's just say the charges are pending and I'll be dealing with my credit company to get my refund.

While the quote is unprofessional one has to expect brokerage fees and duties whenever you purchase items outside of your own country. It's a fact of life and most companies do not charge the duties and brokage fees up front. Unfortunately UPS is the worst when I comes to these fees and I always try to use an alternate form of shipping. I seriously doubt the credit card company will refund you the funds and UPS will definitely not give you the money back. Lockdown cannot do anything about it as UPS receives the payment for the duties/brokage so there is nothing Lockdown can do except add the info to their website.

The point I'm trying to make is that Lockdown should have added any extra shipping charge info onto their website.
Sadly, you might be right. But it's worth a try :(
