So I been on the forum looking around. First post, I’m in the market for a dash cam for a 19 highlander. Things that are essential are parking mode. I been leaning toward these molded cover dash cam. Where you replace the sensor cover for a camera mounted one. Just learning about specs, processors etc.

this is one of the dash cams. I know you have to watch out for specs when it comes to what they have published. I see that it has a processor listed as Hisilicon 3615D, which I could not find information on. I did find they have Hisilicon 3516. Seems off, no reviews from what I found, a similar one I found on amazon but these I can find on AliExpress will a rear camera input for cheaper.

the challenge with those types of cameras is the housing is public tooling which means any assembly factory can buy it and then put their own internals in them, what's inside varies a lot, maybe check any Toyota forums to see if anyone has bought one that they've had good results with

I’ve searched, they seem fairly new to the market. I know the amazon one is very similar to the 30 dollar one as far a specs that can be bought on gear best and banggood. I can tell by buttons, specs and utility app used.
