Does anyone know the difference between the LS400 and LS400w models, just the wider angle lens? Eprance's amazon store only carries the 300W or the 400, not the 400w. Thought that was kind of weird, but there dont seem to be any other differences.

Also, is the battery built into these cameras? Its hard to tell by the spec pages. It makes it sound like you have to buy one separately for the LS300w, but that it comes with one in the LS400. How long does the battery generally hold out while recording too, or do most people just leave it plugged in?

Thanks! :)

The GT300W/LS300W has a 500 Mah built in battery. I always have it plugged in so I don't know how long it will run on battery alone - most likely less than a hour.

20 minutes on batteries for my GT300W @ 1080p
No sure about when it's on motiondetect, but I think it's more than 90 minutes.

W is for WDR(Wide Dynamic Range), LS400W has built-in WDR Technology.
