So my dashcam is doing the thing again where the red light shows its recording but the screen is black like the camera is frozen, if I unplug the camera wait for it to fully power off then power then plug it back in it starts working again

I think the SD card is the issue. I am looking to get a 512 GB SD card just want to verify that this SD card will work https://www.amazon.com/gp/B07P7M6K35
Thank you

@Street Guardian USA i think are the only one that have tested SG cameras with this large cards, he should be able to advise.

I can't speak to that specific card but I use 512GB cards in my SGGCX2PRO+ and SG9663DC without any problems. These are what I'm using - https://www.amazon.com/gp/B07SC7BZHR and https://www.amazon.com/gp/B07MKSGZM6

Edit: WOW!!! I just noticed the price for the Samsung card is now 50% higher than what I paid back in 2019.

The whole line of Samsung EVO Select cards has jumped in price. It is not entirely clear why but I believe Amazon and Samsung are phasing them out. Originally, Amazon had an exclusive on the EVO Select line (green) and sold them directly. Now they seem to be offered by sellers other than Amazon and many offers on Amazon seem to only have a few left. The EVO Plus card (red) was branded and marketed differently . The Samsung EVO Select (green) and the Samsung EVO Plus (red) are the identical card.

The EVO Plus 512GB (red) is currently available on Amazon at a much lower price that the green EVO Select 512GB card.

The EVO Select has apparently been replaced by the Samsung EVO Select (blue) (U3 A2 V30) priced far lower than either of the other two. I have no idea how well it performs for dash cam use.

Then there's the EVO Plus 512GB (white) (U3 A2 V30) which seems to be the only one that currently "ships from and is sold by" by Amazon. This may be the current model branded exclusively for Amazon but I'm not sure. It's all a bit confusing at this point.

Good info. I haven't been shopping for cards for any purposes for some time now so have no idea what the market is doing.

Hmm, okay, thanks I decided to get the https://www.amazon.com/gp/B084CJJRBW again since this one lasted me two years.

I just noticed this today the rear camera still seems to record, but the front camera is frozen. I hope this fixes that issue.
