Hello guys.

Have the camera for like 3 weeks or so.

To be honest the video quality is LOW for 300GBP camera.

Here are two videos where i needed to recognize the number-plate of oncoming car. But you even cant see one number.
is that the way it should be?

Same as the dr550gw I had.. first need to remove the skey as much as possable 1/3 sky 2/3 road and bonnet... it makes the video darker if you have loads of sky. and how many times are you going to see a plane crash in the sky....
the reason for the poor video (blockyness) is bit rate. the dr550 had the same problem thus i sold it. i should have returned it straight away...

rear camera is out of focus. maybe look at lens adjustment like on the dr550gw. just search for the video on here in the blackvue folder.

I've noticed that if you pause the video, then output a picture ... the resolution of the picture is significantly better than it was on the video.

Firstly as said camera is set far too high. Have you paused it to read the plates. Thats what you usually have to do.
Thirdly turn your brightness up the camera pointing down more and you will get more definition..
What a dreary place LOL
