I have 2013 Sienna van and just got and installed 9390 with hardwire set.
Red wired is attached on Cigar fuse which is key on power.
Yellow wire is attached on Back light fuse which is all time power without key.
Black wire is attached on metal frame.
Set up was easy and not required much tools.
It operates ok, recording is ok, playback with software is ok.
However, problem is parking mode. I sets it 30 seconds gap to switch to parking mode with timelapes, and set 12.2v for auto shut off to protect battery drain.
I turn it off engine, wait 30 second, hear " switching to parking mode" and the screen is off.
I thought everything is ok.
Next day morning, my battery is dead. Only reading 8.5v. I have a portable jump starter, which no issue to restart the car.
Pull out the memory card, checked videos with software. Driving mode video was ok, and timelapes parking mode was recorded was OK.
But, the dash cam was not shut off at 12.2v which I set. Instead it kept recording all the way down to 8.5v and cuts off.
I double check setting and it was ok, 12.2v cut off setting.
The firmware is 7.0.9.
